Welcome to Tekakwitha (Mohawk maiden), a rustic lodge on 92 acres where the natural setting complements nearby tourist attractions in Ithaca NY. Tekakwitha Lodge accommodations are close to state parks, Cayuga Lake, Cornell, Ithaca College, fine cuisine, and Finger Lakes wineries.
Originally built by a Cornell zoology professor and his family as a rustic retreat, it features wildlife, hiking, serenity, and 2 ponds for swimming, boating and pollywogging. The property sits adjacent to the divide between the Chesapeake and St. Lawrence Drainages, and the property provides a major tributory for Buttermilk Creek, which flows through Buttermilk State Park before entering Cayuga Lake.
At 1800 feet elevation, it is considerably cooler than nearby Ithaca in the summer, but close to state parks, Cayuga Lake, Cornell, Ithaca College, fine cuisine, and Finger lakes wineries.

Deposit Policy:
|
|
A written contract is signed with payment beforehand. Prior to the commencement of the rental, the tenants must pay in full. The Innkeepers require a security deposit in the amount of $100-500 depending on the use. This deposit will be refunded if conditions are met as described in the contract agreement. Damages would be subtracted to recover these added costs.
