This was a perfect get away location. The location, log home, hospitality, jacuzzi, and fireplace all worked together to make this a fantastic bed and breakfast. There were even 2 deer who made an appearance in the backyard to welcome us when we arrived. I would recommend this B&B very highly. We plan to go back again next year a longer stay!

The Greenwoods is a wonderful, warm, and cozy place to spend a few days for some R&R or for local sights. Great views, great food, and great hospitality!!!

We were impressed with the cozy atmosphere of the inn and the friendliness of the innkeepers. We especially liked the outdoor garden hot tub and snack-filled butler's pantry. A wonderful weekend get-away!

There was plenty of different areas to relax in without being crowded by other guests. The food was excellent and the decor homey yet highclass. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful.

It feels like you are staying in a private lodge with plenty of living space in and outside to read, hike, or do whatever you want without interfering with others guests privacy time outside of one's room. There are always a large assortment of refreshments available free of charge. Extra ammenities hide among rustic decor. The breakfast presentation is as beautiful as it is delicious. The hosts are accomodating beyond the usual hospitality expected.

Both the home and grounds are beautiful (and my wife and I thought that the rooms and common areas were impeccably clean too ...... but more than that: the beautiful hillside (and surrounding countryside) in which the Greenwoods B&B is nestled, as well as the country-style charm of the place itself (lots of natural wood and country style decorations inside) is very warm, friendly and relaxing ..... at least to us: we live in a suburb built shortly after WWII and though there's much to like about our neighborhood (great schools, it's relatively safe, lots of kids, etc) ...... we found the Greenwood's setting and interior to be very refreshing and peaceful).
There were several "nice touches" too -- such as 1) the availability of various flavored coffees, teas, juices and amazing chocolate chip cookies, 2) robe and slippers (for use with the available jacuzzi), 3) nice selection of movies, and 4) a fireplace right in in our room (plus one in the common area).
But the best -- and most unexpected -- part of all: was the exquisite gourmet breakfast. My wife and I learned from the owners that they attended 6 months each of culinary school -- and we can both say with confidence (and with full tummies and smiling faces) that their tuition money was very well spent. The menu on the day we ate brakfast (7-4-00) was poached pear with rasberry sauce, an amazing spinach quiche (with an oat based crust), fresh lemon muffins and apricot rice pudding. No mere "blueberry pancakes" here (although I love blueberry pancakes ....... in fact: we would have been quite happy with blueberry pancakes, juice and eggs ....... instead, we were treated to a feast .... a variety of breakfast delights not ordinarily found in your typical American kitchen ...... at least in any typical American kitchen I've ever encountered.)!
OK -- so I loved the place and really really loved the food. I'd recommend it to anyone. If you go .... prepare to relax, and bring a healthy A.M. appetite.
