Deborah is a first class innkeeper. She offered excellent recommendations for local sights and restaurants, and sent us on the scenic back roads to Tanglewood and surrounding towns.
The rooms are beautiful - no pink and blue flounces here - Deborah has a real eye for quiet elegance. Lovely grounds to enjoy. And wonderful breakfasts! Each day was a new treat (perfect thin pancakes with a slice of pear in the center! Baked plum with Greek yogurt and honey!). This inn is a little out of the way (quieter) and well worth the ten extra minutes travel time to all Berkshire towns.

My new husband and I stayed at this inn for the first three nights of our honeymoon. We loved the peaceful comfort of our room, as well as afternoons lounging in the backyard and reminiscing about the wedding. The breakfasts were also superb!

An outstanding bed and breakfast. Beautiful antiques, lovely grounds, superior rooms. Bathrooms were new and very clean. The innkeeper was very helpful about information concerning the area. We were very pleased with our B & B experience.

We love this inn. It will charm you with its decor, the location near many Berkshire attractions and the hospitality of the innkeeper, Deborah. The grounds are serene as are the rooms which are immaculate and very confortable. At night the inn is quiet and you can sleep without creaking floors! Over all this is a wonderful place to stay. We have been there twice already and will return.

my husband and i stayed the night here after a concert at tanglewood. deborah was a lovely hostess and even helped us with hints on how to navigate the traffic out of tanglewood at the end of the show. my husband sang her praises the whole way back to our room! the inn is convenient to tanglewood, beautifully kept, friendly, comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely fabulous. we'll be back next time we head to the berkshires for some summer music!

We stopped at the Inn at Green River on our way to Boston. We found everything to our satisfaction and met another couple and their friend who we
shared stories with over tea and then again at a delicious breakfast the next
morning.

This is a great place for all inngoers. Deborah Bowen's hospitality and cooking can't be beat. She has restored this wonderful old house and yet has kept it original at the same time. For three retired women needing a triple on a getaway weekend,the Van Buren Room was just right. Wonderful stay!

The inn is absolutely beautiful; elegant yet very comfortable. The innkeeper has a wealth of information shared in a generous and friendly manner. If you need to "get away" and relax, this is the place for you. My husband and I had a wonderful and romantic weekend. We cannot wait to return!

Deborah was very nice and made us feel very at home. She lit a fire in the fireplace when we arrived while we sat and talked and read. She is in the middle of some major renovations (adding rooms) but that did not deter her from spending some time with us at breakfast and making our stay very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it! Very convenient to Catamount Ski!

This is a charming Inn full of antiques, books, and cozy corners. The Innkeeper provided wonderful restaurant suggestions and was always eager to accommodate our needs. Breakfast was fantastic!

The Inn is full of charm, is located in a lovely pastoral setting close to the Berkshires. The breakfast was wonderful. The innkeeper is very hospitable. We woke up to a blizzard and she even helped us clean the snow off our car.

The Inn at Green River was a beautiful place, full of interesting artifacts from around the world. It was warm and cozy for a snowy winter's night. The innkeeper was very friendly and welcoming. The dog was great too!

To definitely spend at least one night there. The Inn enjoys a great, central location (it is roughly 30 minutes east from the Hudson River and Frederic Church's Olana Estate as well as 30 minutes west from Historic Stockridge, MA and the Norman Rockwell museum. Furthermore, Innkeeper D. Bowen was simply delightful, spending time to chat and get to know you better in addition to just about bending over backwards to help with directions, reservations and ideas on good things to see and do.
