Whispering Pines cozy chalet is a Bed & Breakfast getaway with outdoor hot tub only 2 hours upstate from New York City. Minutes from Mohonk Mountain House, Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park, fine restaurants, antique shops, The Pottery Trail, the Wine Trail, golf course, horseback riding, fishing, golfing, and woodland hiking and just 20 minutes from Woodstock.
Cathedral ceiling, skylights, finished wood floors, an interior balcony between our two upstairs bedrooms and lots of windows everywhere create a spacious, light-filled atmosphere. The fireplace is kept ablaze in spring and fall; all summer, the woodland breezes wander the house through open windows and doors. All bedrooms are air conditioned mid-May through mid-September.
Relax in front of the fire in the fall as you gaze through the living room's glass wall into the undisturbed woods. Breakfast in summer on the front porch. Watch for the visiting wildlife, families of deer, flocks of wild turkey, hawks, osprey, and the shy possums.

We serve a weekend buffet breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.so you can sleep late. It includes fresh fruit, coffee cake, muffins, a main course, gourmet cheeses, cereals, juice, milk, coffee, and tea. On weekday mornings, we serve a continental breakfast at your convenience of fresh fruit, a choice of cereals, coffee cake, coffee, tea, and juice.
