In the midst of the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York, overlooking a beautiful mountain lake, Friends Lake Bed & Breakfast Inn is conveniently located just 30 minutes north of Lake George, 1 ½ hours north of Albany, 3 ½ hours north of New York City, and one hour south of Lake Placid. Gore Mountain Ski Area is only 20 minutes away.
While many of our guests find that the inn is the perfect place to do nothing at all, consider the possibilities! Enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks on our private beach where you can swim, canoe, kayak or fish. Lounge at our outdoor heated pool! In winter, snowshoe or cross-country ski on our trails at our own Snowshoe Center. Nearby attractions include downhill skiing, cross country -skiing, whitewater rafting, golfing, hiking, antiquing and much more.
