The Spencer Hotel is a lovely historic hotel that offers many cozy areas that are perfect for playing a board game, curling up with a good book, or engaging in an interesting conversation with others. Located in Chautauqua, in upstate New York, this beautiful Victorian Hotel offers 26 luxurious rooms and suites all decorated by local artists to depict the lives or scenes from the works of famous authors. Four Floors of porches grace the front of the hotel with chairs and rockers overlooking the famous amphitheatre.

For summer rentals, a refund will be given if cancelled by March 1. After March 1, a refund upon rebooking the room. Off-season, a refund if cancelled 14 days or more before check-in. Less than 14 days, a refund/credit upon rebooking the room. All refunds subject to a $50 - $75 service charge. Groups, please contact The Spencer Staff to discuss our cancellation policy for parties occupying 10 or more rooms.
