Garden
The Inn is surrounded by walled gardens and wooded areas. Comfortable, intimate seating arrangements are scattered throughout the multi-terraced gardens with a cascading fountain and bubbling ponds to further promote relaxation. A hammock nestled under trees provides the perfect place to nap, catch up on your reading or watch for shooting stars. Throughout the seasons, perennials display a kaleidoscope of color. In summer, the lush tree canopy provides an abundance of shade. These same trees are set ablaze as autumn descends on the region. And during the winter months, giant snowflakes gather on branches.

Gathering Room
Welcome to the romantic 1795 Acorn Inn... noted for its rich décor, warm hospitality and superb attention to detail. The Inn is truly among the hospitality elite in North America and will exceed your Bed and Breakfast expectations. The 1795 Acorn Inn is the only B & B in New York State to have been awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award for nine consecutive years.

The Barn Suite
Located about 25 feet from the Inn, the spacious and private Barn Suite, features a king-size sleigh bed and a twin-size bed with trundle. Complete with a private, modern bath, galley kitchen with microwave and refrigerator, TV/DVD/CD, thermostatically-controlled fireplace, and a view of a semi-private garden. The Suite enjoys all the comforts of the main Inn, including our gourmet breakfast.

Hotchkiss Room
Perfect for celebrating a special occasion, the Hotchkiss Room delivers comfortable elegance and romance in abundance. This downstairs room, has a queen size, pencil-post canopy bed and a sitting area situated around a Vermont Castings fireplace. French doors open onto a private brick terrace with a plush wicker seating arrangement. The bathroom includes a private whirlpool bath for one.

Angell Room
Located on the second floor, this cozy room features a queen-size pencil post bed and a large picture window overlooking the gardens and the woods beyond. Relax in the comfortable sitting area in front of a RealFlame fireplace and enjoy one of the Inn's many books. Perfect for a weekday or weekend getaway, your stay in the Angell Room will provide a relaxing escape from everyday life.

Bristol Suite
The Bristol Suite, the most spacious room in the Inn, once housed a magnificent ballroom. This upstairs room offers a large window seat overlooking the Inn’s lush gardens. The seat, which is the size of a twin bed, can accommodate a third person. When the weather turns chilly, enjoy the warmth of the thermostatically-controlled Vermont Castings fireplace from your new, king-size poster bed (not shown). A full-size chocolate leather sofa, chair and ottoman (not shown) complete the Suite. And, a small refrigerator has been added to this Suite making it convenient to chill items you may have brought with you or local items you may acquire during your trip.
