Located in the Finger Lakes, the Morgan Samuels Inn Bed and Breakfast is a historic 1810 stone mansion in Canandaigua, New York. They have been rated 4 Diamonds by AAA for offering the ultimate tranquility for the discerning visitor. The Inn sits like a plantation on a rise surrounded by 46 acres, with four beautiful patios, trickling water gardens and acres of lawn and gardens canopied by 250 noble trees.
The inn has five charming rooms each with a fireplace and distinguished furniture designed with your comfort in mind. There are also large common rooms where you can snuggle up with a book or relax in the warm glow of the fireplace. Enjoy a gourmet breakfast served in our enclosed stone porch, intimate tea room with candlelight and soft music or dining room.
Playwright-Actor Judson Morgan from Famous "Canadian Morgans" fell in love with this beautiful 1810 mansion and selected it as his upstate New York Farm hideaway. Then the industrialist, Johnson Administration official, along with New York governor-hopeful Howard Samuels and his wife, Bobbie, owned and raised their family here. Today, Innkeepers Brad and Connie Smith and Proprietors, John and Julie Sullivan offer guests a delightful atmosphere at this magnificent Victorian estate.
