Sunset on Seneca was a GORGEOUS B & B, located directly on Seneca Lake! Frank and Donna Davis were both extremely accommodating, and provided my husband and I with information needed to visit the best wineries, sites, and places to dine! In the morning Donna cooked a FABULOUS hot breakfast, with an array of several different side dishes that were also terrific (with Frank's help of course!). We could enjoy our breakfast looking straight out to the docks and lake. This is definitely a B & B my husband and I would love to return to, and would definitely recommend to others! ~Shaun & Jess Potts

SOS is a beautiful B and B. The views are fantastic, and the house is layed out very well. Frank and Donna were wonderful hosts with great recommendations on area restuarants and wineries. Really enjoyed our stay there!

First class, clean, comfortable, spacious accommodations in a beautiful location right on Lake Secenca. The hosts, Donna and Frank give a gracious, friendly welcome to their home and their attentiveness to every detail and service is outstanding. Breakfast was elegantly served and everything was of high quality and beautifully cooked. Donna & Frank have an extensive knowledge of the area both past and present and share this in a interesting manner. We would highly recommend!

Overall a wonderful experience. A few minor disappointments such as having a broken blind in the window of our room leaving it fairly exposed to the morning sunlight.

Response
Some things happen at the most inconvenient time! The interior lines on a window shade broke just prior to this guest's arrival. Alternate window coverings were provided as the shade was repaired. The shade was back in place in two days.

Staying at Sunset at Seneca with Frank and Donna was like staying with family. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. We wer very comfortable, we would go back and we will tell our friends and family about it.

Frank and Donna were very welcoming, attentive, and helpful. The property offered a private, relaxing, and unique view of the Watkins Glen/Seneca Lake area. Breakfast was adjusted to your schedule and needs and everything was delicious. I would recommend Sunset on Seneca to family and friends and hope to make it back there again!

Top notch B and B. Donna and Frank truly love what they're doing and it shows. "Above and Beyond" should be their motto. Perfectly situated on Seneca Lake with gorgeous sunset views nightly. Breakfast is great and the menu is extensive.

This is a great setting on Seneca Lake and very convenient to Watkins Glen. The room was very comfortable and large. Frank and Donna were friendly, accommodating and professional.This is a great place to relax, yet there is enough to do close by. We liked the flexibility afforded for breakfast in terms of time and selection...

My husband and I had a great time celebrating our 2nd Anniversary at the Sunset on Seneca. The name of this B and B suits it perfectly. The sunset from the deck was absoultly wonderful. Frank and Donna were great hosts. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

THE OWNERS WERE WONDERFUL IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD! WE WISH WE HAD STAYED THERE LONGER. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS, VERY COMFORTABLE AND WELCOMING. YOU COULD NOT FIND A BETTER PLACE TO STAY ALONG LAKE SENECA, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE DOING A WINE TRIP. OUR GROUP LOVED IT!!!

Very comfortable house, ample space between rooms and several public indoor and outdoor spaces. Hosts recommended excellent restaurants, told us something of local history, and were otherwise friendly and helpful--they couldn't be beat.

Our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast! The Location was wonderful...right on the lake, and the accommodations were open and spacious with intriguing design and decor. A friend that I work with gave me an article from the Cleveland Plain Dealer on Watkins Glen area. Sunset at Seneca was featured in the article so I decided to give them a call. Along with my husband and myself, another couple also vactioned with us. Being as this was our first stay at a B&B, we didn't know what to expect, but as with anywhere you stay, you always hope for the best. Frank & Donna were the nicest, down to earth people. You instantly felt right at home. When we arrived, Donna greeted us, showed us to our rooms and explained the amenities available which, by the way, were more than at some hotels. She explained the rules of the house and we were good to go on our own. The house was beautiful, very clean, and very tastefully furnished. The house is right on the lake with an awesome view. We and our friends sat on the deck at night and took in the serenity and enjoyed conversation from the day's activities. It was in close proximity to everything and everywhere we wanted to go. Donna prepared an excellent breakfast. There was a good variety, plenty to eat, and you didn't feel rushed to finish. If you had questions on how to get somewhere, they provided you a map and would point you in the right direction of restaurants, wineries, etc. Both Frank and Donna were delightful. We truly enjoyed our stay and if we vacation to Seneca Lake again, they will be my first phone. Before you leave, Frank & Donna asked for feedback, both good and bad. No bad, all very good. Kudos Frank and Donna!

There are few words that can truely describe how beautiful this place is and how wonderful Frank and Donna are as hosts, and more importantly friends. It is more than anyone out there looking for a B&B could hope for and imagine. This was our third year coming back to Sunset on Seneca for the big race at Watkins Glen and everything as usual was perfect as usual. Donna and Frank always go out of there way regardless of the circumstances. This year I had an unfortunate family emergency at home in Long Island, NY and had to leave a day early (Sunday night instead of Monday morning). Not only was Donna and Frank genuinely concerned about my family and my well being, they unselfishly went out their way to make sure I got on the road as fast as possible, with Frank driving in front of me all the way until I got out of town following the unfamiliar back roads to avoid the massive traffic jams caused by the race. Just think about that. Do you know anyone outside or your own family or circle of close friends that would go that above and beyond? To me and my son they are like family and I will never forget what they did for us this last stay. To top it all off they would not accept payment for the last day, even though they were entitled to it. The thought did not even cross their mind. If you are ever thinking about visiting the finger lakes region, and i mean anywhere in the region, no matter how far or close you may be from Sunset on Seneca, take my sincere advice and book with the Davis'. They will treat you and yours like you are their own family, you will enjoy the beautiful house and all the area has to offer, and most importantly you will never be disappointed with Frank and Donna. Thanks again guys, see you real soon!

This was the nicest B & B we have ever stayed at. The proprietors thought of everything, any amenity we might have needed was supplied. Everything was very clean, accomodations were above average. I would readily recommend this to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay from the moment we arrived until we departed. Donna and Frank were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Location is perfect, right on the lake, beautiful sun porch and deck. Would highly recommend the inn, ideal for a getaway and to enjoy the area wineries.

Frank and Donna are wonderful hosts! They are experts at anticipating needs and providing assistance in an unobtrusive, friendly manner. The casually elegant setting in their home is welcoming and comfortable as well as beautiful with lake views that are abundant and refeshing. The only downside was heavy seaweed in the swimming area and a bit of traffic noise with morning coffee...but the water is exceptionally clean and clear, and after the weekday morning commute is over....sunsets were serene. I would gladly return should we ever have an opportunity to revisit that area.

This is a very special property with superior amenities. Situated on the lake in Watkin's Glen, guests can enjoy an enclosed porch, sit on the dock, or enjoy a hot tub while watching the changing colors of Seneca Lake mirroring the sky. Everything is spotless. Donna and Frank work as a team to take care of every wish of the guest. I would reccomend this B&B for a sublime, quiet and romantic getaway in the Finger Lakes.

My wife and I spent two nights here while on a wine tasting getaway from NYC and we were very pleased with the Sunset on Seneca. Our room was spacious and very clean, the view of Seneca lake is great, and Donna makes an awesome breakfast! They really made us feel comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset on Seneca. We stayed in the Green room, which has a beautiful bathroom, including a waterfall feature. The inn is right on the lake and breakfast is served looking out over the water. Frank and Donna were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us suggestions for places to eat, run, and fill up our car. They also have complimentary tastings, etc. from some of the local wineries, which was nice. The location is great for touring the Finger Lakes wineries - very centrally located. I would stay there again, if we return to the area.

Beautiful Inn right on Lake Seneca. Gorgeous lake views from every window and of course from the multi-level deck. Innkeepers Frank and Donna could not have been more gracious or more interesting. Breakfast was whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted it, cooked to perfection! We'll be staying here again!

I would highly recommend it! Frank and Donna were extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgable. The setting is amazing. The home literally sits on the banks of the Seneca Lake. As we ate breakfast we had an unobstructed view of the lake and its wildlife. You can't beat relaxing in their very large hot tub on the deck, just feet from the edge of the lake, viewing the boats sailing bye. You cannot go wrong staying in this beautiful home. With just 3 guest rooms, Frank and Donna have the time to personally meet your individual needs. They even cook breakfast at whatever time you would like, and custom make whatever you wish to eat. We could go on and on...but then we might never be able to go back because all the readers of this review might snatch up all the reservations! The Fiorani's

Donna and Frank are extremely hospitable and gracious hosts. They were more than happy to accommodate our every need including helping us plan the local “must see” sites. Their home is absolutely beautiful and being right on the lake afforded us beautiful scenery day and night. This was by far one of the nicest B&Bs we have ever stayed at and plan to go back soon!

This inn was as said above well above our expectations. Room with view of Seneca Lake was awesome. Hospitality and inn keepers, Frank and Donna were wonderful, kind and so helpful about Watkins Glen Area and things to do. The Breakfast served was excellent, and fresh well cooked food with a beautiful view of Seneca lake. Very private, and relaxing. Our first experience of a well managed, friendly and at home comfortable feeling atmosphere. We will be returning again for a stay, passing this wonderful B & B to all our friends and family! A definate 5 Start to Sunset on Seneca!!

The hosts are very friendly and accomodating. We arrived early, were greeted and invited in. Also, the hosts answered questions about the area and things to do during the day as well as dinner recommendations. The view is beautiful, the food was made to order and delicious, the design of the green room's bathroom is most unique. We hope to return someday.

Frank & Donna immediately greeted us and within a few minutes we became a part of their family, they were extremely gracious hosts. Their breakfasts were over the top with enough food and choices to feed a small army.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! This was our first experience at a Bed & Breakfast and we are certain any future stays at others will be hard to live up to Sunset on Seneca! We loved our experience, the hospitality of Donna & Frank, and the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend to others and would definitely want to stay again.

I've already made recommendation to a friend of mine who regularly comes to watkins glen. Great experience with very nice people. A bit pricey on an absolute basis but in line with the overall quality and hospitality of the owners who'd go out of their way to make the stay as enjyable as possible

This was our first stay at a B&B. Frank and Donna made us feel more like old friends than clients. They went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. I can't imagine how more could have been done to accommodate our needs. The breakfast they served was outstanding and activities available in the area (winerys, Watkins Glen State Park, Captain Bills Seneca Lake tours,) provided an very special weekend trip.

Amazing experience! Being from the NYC area, i was floored at how professional and hospitable owners Frank and Donna were. It was more than one could expect, especially being the fact that it was Nascar weekend, where they could of rented the room to anyone without even worrying about providing the level of service that we received. The room was impeccible, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was magnificent, almost as much as the lake view from the inn's outside deck. The wireless internet was an unexpected added bonus. In addition, Frank and Donna were extremely knowledgable about the ongoing events for the weekend, and had given my son and I some invaluable information that helped us get around the area effortlessly, as if we lived there ourselves. I highly recommend Sunset on Seneca to anyone, anytime, and for any reason.

Location, Location, Location! The B&B is lovely and the rooms are very private and comfortable with good views. Frank & Donna are wonderful hosts, accomodating to our schedule and serving breakfasts that are out of this world. They gave us many ideas on what to do and see in the Watkins Glen area - which is quite a bit! On the warm summer nights, we enjoyed our favorite wine on their deck/boat dock area and watched spectacular sunsets. In the morning we drank our coffee on the deck and listened to the fish splashing and geese honking on the lake. It was very peaceful & relaxing. We did many lake activities there, including renting a boat, which was made even nicer since we could tie up at their private dock. (We even swam and did some catch and release fishing). Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we can highly recommend Sunset on Seneca B&B. Thanks so much!

The Innkeepers(Donna & Frank)made us feel as if they had been our friends for years.We felt as if we were visiting friends who just wanted to pamper us. Their hospitality was top-notch. The B&B is beautiful, on Lake Seneca with INCREDIBLE sunsets. Breakfast was served ON OUR TIME schedule and was absolutely delicious as well as extremely plentiful. Donna learned of my desire for coffee during the day as well as at night and made sure it was always available and ready for me whenever we were back at the BnB. The library and game room upstairs was cosy & inviting. The house is open & modern and two of the bedrooms have a great view of the lake. The bathrooms are very large (we had the private bath), the other is shared between two bedrooms.My husband and I would definitely return for another visit!
