Berry Hill Gardens is off the beaten path on a secluded country lane, yet only 7 miles from Bainbridge, Afton or Oxford Villages. This country bed and breakfast is situated high on a hilltop overlooking miles of the rural beauty of New York's Central Leatherstocking region in an area bursting with museums, sporting facilities, artisans and fascinating history. The vista of extensive herb and perennial gardens with hundreds of plant varieties offer three-season interest and a tranquil atmosphere in which to stroll or lounge.

We are 3 hours to New York City, 45 minutes to Cooperstown and 30 minutes to most of the area colleges.
New! Earth friendly Buckthorn Lodge: a private retreat secreted in a sunny glen. The Lodge is solar powered, ringed by forest and a pristine lake. The elegant rustic interior relies on natural products emphasizing comfort and green living.
We offer workshops in wreath making, herbs, fiber arts and landscape painting. These classes take place outside in the summer months.
