Situated on 2 1/2 beautiful, private acres, the Altamont Old Stone House Inn is just a 30 minute drive from downtown Albany, NY, and a 20 minutes drive from downtown Schenectady. Our Bed and Breakfast Inn has five guest bedrooms, four of which are named for our grandmothers; the decor reflecting a hint of each individual personality. Each room includes a private bath, individual heating and cooling controls, cable TV, wireless high speed internet, down comforters in the winter months and quilts for the summer months.
A full breakfast is served every morning in the dining room or on the veranda in season.
During the afternoon hours pamper yourself as you drink lemonade on the front porch swing, gazing at a view of the Berkshire and Albany skyline. Or, in the winter months, curl up with a cup of hot cocoa next to the woodstove in the guest parlor. Our retreat-like setting will refresh your spirit. |

If you must cancel your reservation we would like a two week notice. Please give us a courtesy call (518-861-0200). We have many inquiries especially for Friday, Saturday nights and special events in the Albany/Schenectady area. We do not take a deposit and rely on the honor system. We Thank You for honoring our two week cancellation policy.
Refund of deposit will be made if the reservation is cancelled 14 or more days in advance. If the cancellation is made less than 14 days, the deposit will be refunded only if the room can be re-rented.
