Welcome to the Lillagaard Bed and Breakfast in Ocean Grove, NJ where you can experience magnificent sunrises and sunsets from our award winning porches. The Lillagaard, an award winning inn, offers more than just a room with an ocean view. This historic inn, owned by Dick and Jane Wehr, features 22 enchanting guest rooms, each named for a unique theme. Hand-painted furniture and murals add a spectacular touch to each room.

Less than a block away, the boardwalk and beach await. After a day of sunbathing, you can explore everything that the historic community of Ocean Grove has to offer, from concerts and religious services at the auditorium, to relaxed shopping and dining on Main Avenue.

Many of our guests lounge all day on our two award winning porches, or have quiet time in the presidential library. Our Victorian tea room serving a full afternoon tea, by reservation, is also available for special events. Your hosts, Dick & Jane are eager to help you plan your vacation or special event. We had a wonderful stay. Rooms are charming . The Innkeepers are very friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast! Loved the Victorian charm of this Inn. We had a view of the ocean from our room.In the early evening we would sit on the beautiful porch with a cool drink. Can't wait to go back !
