Welcome to Serendipity Bed & Breakfast Inn located just a half block's stroll to the beach and Ocean City New Jersey's boardwalk. Built in 1912, Serendipity is a fully air conditioned inn where windows abound in six tastefully decorated rooms of soft pastels and comfortable wicker, enhanced by cable TV, VCR's, air conditioning, private (or shared) baths, ceiling fans, hair dryers and clock radios. Most rooms have electric fireplaces.
Mornings are a delight at Serendipity! Awake to the tantalizing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and home-baked goods. Enjoy a scrumptious, healthy breakfast-of your choice-on the garden veranda or in our spacious dining room with private seating and the morning paper. When you are ready to venture out we are in Ocean City just 15 minutes south of Atlantic City and 30 minutes north of Victorian Cape May. Nearby activities include surfing, sailing, jet skiing & parasailing. Charter & excursion boating & fishing are also available for your enjoyment. Just love this B&B. Close to the ocean, Excellent gourmet breakfasts that will keep you full and satisfied till dinner. Terrific location and the Hostess, Karen is so sweet and accommodating! We always look forward to our yearly weekend there. Wish we could do it more often!

We love staying at Serendipity. Karen always makes us feel right at home and the rooms are so comfortable and the food is cooked to order and delicious and so nourishing that we are able to skip eating lunch. Karen does everything so beautifully and we love spending time with her as well as being in that perfect location for enjoying everything that Ocean City, NJ has to offer.

My husband and I are repeat guests at this wonderful B&B, the Serendipity. Karen the Hostess is warm and helpful. The rooms are bright and cheery. It is only 2 short blocks from the beach. We both agree that the breakfast here at Serendipity are the best we have ever had at any B&B we have stayed at and we have stayed at many. I highly recommend this delightful B&B. You will not be disappointed. Oh yes, please try her Tea. Her sandwiches and scones are so fresh and tasty.

This was our first visit to Karen's B&B and we were delighted. The B&B's common areas were warm and inviting...there was a smell of fresh baked goods upon our return from AC late Saturday evening....our room had all the amenities you don't get in a chain hotel/motel...magazines, bottled water, candy, electric blanket, bathrobe/slippers. The living/dining areas had lots of books to read,board games, popcorn, pretzels and a wonderful selection of movies if the weather kept you indoors. Karen's breakfast were homecooked and you get to choose the day before. Karen is a gracious and efficient host and runs and top notch B&B. We would definitely return for another visit...soon!

My husband and I are repeat visitors ot Serendipity, although this was our first visit with the new innkeeper. The room was lovely, the food was delicious, filling and well-presented and the location couldn't be better -- not even a block from the beach! If you want to feel pampered (think fluffy robe, slippers and an innkeeper who thinks of everything you might need), then this is the place to try.

One of Ocean City's best places to stay, if you like to be pampered. The food is great and well-presented. The inn keeper anticipated my husband and my every need, right down to providing tea and snacks later in the day. We will be return guests.

We had the best time. Breakfasts were magnificent! And just a short block to the beach and boardwalk, what more could you ask for? It was such a relaxing and friendly weekend. Can't wait to do it again.
