The Candlelight Inn is a beautifully restored Bed & Breakfast built at the turn of the century by Leaming Rice in North Wildwood, New Jersey. Authentic antique furnishings that include an 1855 sofa and an Eastlake piano are yours to enjoy as you relax in our parlor. While you are a guest of the Candlelight Inn, we hope the variety of things to do in the area will make it enjoyable. The Wildwood boardwalk, beach, fine restaurants, tennis courts, and shopping are all within a few minutes walk. Whatever your pleasure, it's within a short distance of the Candlelight Inn. The best biking, fishing, boating, historical sightseeing, zoo, casinos, golf courses, the recently restored Hereford Inlet Lighthouse; it's for you to decide and for you to enjoy.
It is a charming Queen Anne Victorian home that will take you back to a simpler time. The accommodations will, however, provide you with all the modern amenities that you need, including double whirlpool tubs, gas fireplaces, cable or satellite television, and wireless internet access throughout the property. In the main house All guestrooms are individually decorated with antique wood beds; period pieces of oak, walnut, pine, and mahogany abound. You will find oriental rugs, old prints and lace to remind you of years gone by. The Carriage House suites provide privacy in a modern seashore setting equipped with wicker and oak furnishings. Both suites have king size beds, double whirlpool tubs, seasonal gas fireplaces, and outside decks.

The Candlelight Inn is awesome. From the moment of our arrival until our departure, we were pampered with bountiful breakfasts, afternoon wine & home baked cookies. Sherry in our room & chocolates. The Inn Keepers, Bill & Nancy were very friendly and gracious hosts. The room (Quarter Deck) was spectacular. This B&B has the Boardwalk and a few good eateries within walking distance. A hot tub and ample parking. A large wrap around porch to chill out.We felt very much welcomed and totally enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

We just returned from what was going to be a 2 night stay and ended up staying an extra night due to a blizzard that hit our home town of Milford, CT. The Candlelight Inn is a beautiful place, each room is unique and we had the pleasure of staying in 2 different rooms due to the extra night we booked. The Candlelight Inn offered a very relaxing atmosphere and truly a wonderful place to stay (beats a hotel room anytime). Our room(s) The Blue Meadow & Drawing Room and the entire Inn is kept up and is immaculately clean. Breakfast each morning was excellent. We can't wait to return!!
Nancy & Bill are wonderful Innkeepers and will provided you with wonderful stories, tell you about the local activities, and guide you on things to see and do around the area. From the time you walk through the door and are greeted by these wonderful friendly & caring innkeepers, you will feel at home.
The homemade cookies in the afternoon with tea, coffee or even a glass of wine, along with all of the little touches, is why I would highly recommend the Candlelight Inn. So if you're looking for total peace & relaxation, you've found it here! You will arrive as strangers but leave as friends. I know you'll enjoy meeting them and staying at their wonderful Inn.
We highly recommend this Inn.

The Candlelight Inn is a beautiful B&B located just a few miles north of Cape May. We stayed there over New Year's weekend and enjoyed the hospitality of Bill and Nancy Moncrief. Our room had curved windows, window ledges, pretty wallpaper and a large wood wardrobe. The New Year's Eve late afternoon meal and the New Year's Day brunch were excellent. We have been coming here for years and always enjoy our chance to relax at the Inn.

We stayed at the Candlelight for our 25th anniversary. Great get away! Nice owners. Very hospitable but not too intrusive. Cute house, lovely soaking tubs. Delicious breakfasts!!!

We have stayed in a lot of bed abd breafast inns all over the country.This by far is one of the best. The owners attention to detail could not be topped. My wife and I tried to think of something they missed but we were stumped The food was great and we will be back. Feel free to book with confidence. You will not be disappointed.

Had a great time at this BnB, it is only the second time we have ever stayed at a Bed and Breakfast and didn't have much experience with what to expect. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this place as a great location to stay.
