Welcome to the Martin Coryell House Bed and Breakfast, located in the historic town of Lambertville, New Jersey (known as "The Antique Capital of New Jersey"). The beautifully restored and professionally decorated Martin Coryell House provides a tranquil retreat within easy walking distance of Lambertville's charming shops, galleries, restaurants and river views. Combining the comforts of home with the luxuries of a fine hotel, the inn's six elegantly appointed guest accommodations (including three suites) feature queen featherbeds, plush carpets, antique furnishings, electric fireplaces, air conditioning and en suite baths - some with Jacuzzis and dual showerheads. Suites have spacious sitting areas with desks and sofas.
The B&B's rooms are named for various Coryells - descendents of one of the town's founders and owners of this red brick Federal-style mansion for nearly a century. The 19th-century home now boasts such 21st-century amenities as in-room phones, cable tv and free high-speed Internet access with fax service available upon request. Business guests also can arrange to use small meeting spaces. On weekends, hosts Mary and Rich Freedman serve up "scrumptious" breakfasts - individual souffles, stuffed peach French toast, blueberry cornmeal muffins and other specialties. (Expanded continental breakfasts are available weekdays.) The couple's warm hospitality makes recreational and business guests feel at home seven days a week, year round.
