Welcome to the Henry Sawyer Inn Bed & Breakfast situated in Cape May, NJ is an 1877 Victorian Bed & Breakfast, lovingly restored to its original elegance. The Henry Sawyer Inn is centrally located on quiet gas-lit Columbia Avenue, close to beaches, shops, restaurants and tours. Gracious & welcoming, the inn boasts beautiful rooms & suites, with private baths, AC, and Cable TV. The mornings will greet you with lavish full breakfasts and in the afternoon we put out refreshments to hold you until you head out to your dining of choice. Other amenities include private parking and romantic getaways and golf packages.

Within the Henry Sawyer Inn, there are 3 common areas for guests, all appointed in Victorian decor: large front verandas where guests can relax, rock, read, and reflect. There is a formal dining room where the inn's Hummel collection is principally displayed and where guests are served breakfast and afternoon refreshments. We also have a parlor with fireplace where guests can read, relax, converse, and enjoy each other's company.

Our full breakfast, which is served in a leisurely fashion between 8:00 A.M. and 9:30 A.M. each morning to meet the preference of every guest, may be enjoyed in our Victorian dining room or on our veranda.

Check In Policy:
Check-in time is 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
Check Out Policy:
Check-out time is 11:00 A.M.
Cancellation Policy:
Please make reservations only when you are sure of your plans because guests are expected to stay and/or pay for the full number of days that rooms are reserved. In the event you must cancel, shorten your stay, or make a change in your confirmed reservation, your deposit will be refunded less a $60.00 processing fee, if 28 days notice is received. If cancellation occurs from 28 days until 48 hours before check in, your deposit less a $60.00 processing fee will be refunded, if we can rebook your entire reservation. If cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before check in (2 pm), then NO refund is made.
Children: Children ages 11+
Deposit Policy:
A 50% deposit (min. of one night's lodging) is requested within 7 days of booking to secure the reservation. The balance is payable in cash, by personal check, or traveler's check upon arrival.
