The Chalfonte, Cape May’s enduring National Historic Landmark Hotel in Victorian Cape May’s beloved Chalfonte was built in 1876, and since that time she has defied conventional definitions of "hotel." The Chalfonte is located centrally in Cape May within walking distance of shops, restaurants and attractions, and situated just footsteps from the expansive Cape May beaches and promenade.
A variety of room types allows guests to select cozy, quaint rooms for summer escapes, or larger accommodations ideal for family vacations. In addition, Chalfonte guests can choose from rooms with a private bath, or shared baths, located on the hall.
