Our ability to provide overnight accommodations, meals, numerous indoor & outdoor gathering spaces, and on-site activities in one private, convenient, idyllic location makes Dexter’s Inn a popular location for group activities such as weddings, family reunions, business meetings, craft workshops, church retreats, company outings, and sports camps. We also host many private parties such as bridal showers, baby showers, special dinners, and holiday parties. As such, Dexter’s is often viewed as a mini-conference center & resort with the old-fashioned charm & hospitality of a bed & breakfast. |

Breakfast is typically served buffet-style when there are a large number of diners, and served to order on those mornings when there are only a few guests. Dinner is available for both in-house guests and the general public on weekends for an additional charge. Lunch is also available for both in-house guests and the general public for an additional charge on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays when our commercial cross-country ski center is open.

Check In Policy: |
Check-in time is normally between 3 pm and 10 pm. This is to allow us time to properly prepare the cottage after the prior guests depart. If you would like to arrive before 3 pm, you must notify us in advance, or risk that no one will be available to assist you. If you think that you will be arriving after 10 pm, please notify us so that we can make arrangements for you to get in. |
Check Out Policy: |
Check-out time is normally 11 am. You may, however, leave bags with us and utilize one of our downstairs bathrooms if you would like to change after a day of recreation or sight-seeing. |
Cancellation Policy: |
There is a 7 or 14 day cancellation policy, depending upon the time of the year and the number of rooms reserved. Groups may have other cancellation timeframes. Cancellations made at least 7 or 14 days in advance of your scheduled arrival will result in no charges. If you cancel your reservation within 7 or 14 days of your scheduled arrival, then you will be charged for all room nights reserved, unless we can re-sell the room nights to someone else. |
Children:

Children of all ages are welcome, and there are on-site activities for all ages. Parents are responsible for their children at all times. With sufficient advance notice, babysitting can be arranged. |
Deposit Policy: |
Typically, a deposit of one or two night’s room charges (depending upon the length of the stay) is charged at the time of the reservation. Any remaining balance due (including the state tax) is charged at the time of check-out. |
Pets Welcome |
Pets are welcome in some rooms by special advance arrangement with the understanding that the owners are responsible for their pet’s behavior at all times and are responsible for any damages that occur. There is a charge of $10 per day per pet, plus 9% tax. |
Smoking:
Outside |
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside. Guests are welcome to smoke anywhere outside. |
