You'll find unrivaled beauty in the secluded acres of fields and forests, two miles from the village of North Conway. The Inn is minutes from Jackson, North Conway Village, Mt. Washington and area white mountains attractions.
The Buttonwood Inn on Mount Surprise offers a rural setting that is close to some of the finest American and other cultural cuisine in the area, as well as many naturally wondrous attractions. In winter, cross country or downhill skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, and restaurants are all nearby. Hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, Mt. Washington tours and our own outdoor pool are available in summer. Theatre and name-brand outlet shopping are available year 'round. An 1820's farmhouse, the Inn retains a country atmosphere featuring wide pine floors, antiques, quilts, and period stenciling.
Join Paula in the kitchen for an early morning cup of coffee while she prepares the mornings starter and entree.
Bill is always happy to help you plan your day, or offer recommendations for many of the local sights.
