All our accommodations, whether a traditional room or suite, offer warmth and quiet comfort. Each is uniquely decorated with period furnishings and a wide variety of traditional and modern amenities. All have private baths, cable TV, phones, hair dryers, irons & ironing boards, clock radios or CD players. Many have 2-person jacuzzis and/or balconies. Most rooms have gas or wood burning fireplaces.

Start your morning with juice, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, fresh fruit, homemade granola or cereals, and a choice of two homebaked coffee cakes or sweet breads. Then choose between our sweet and savory entree for the day, accompanied by bacon or sausage and your choice of toast.

In Sparkling Cascade you can gaze dreamily at the flames of the three-sided fireplace from the king four poster cherry bed, the comfortable easy chairs, or the jacuzzi for two with a view of the river. Relax to its soothing sounds on your private balcony. TV/VCR and CD Player.

Arethusa Falls Room
All our accommodations, whether a traditional room or suite, offer warmth and quiet comfort. Each is uniquely decorated with period furnishings and a wide variety of traditional and modern amenities. Arethusa Falls offers a queen bed, traditional bath with tub/shower, two chairs and an electric Victorian style fireplace.

In summer, enjoy a seasonal beverage and cookies in the gazebo or by the pool. In winter, curl up by the fireplace in the pub hot cider, coffee or tea and a warm cookie.

In winter try cross country skiing over 200 kilometers of world class trails or carve your way through fresh snow at 5 nearby downhill runs. In summer seek out waterfalls, fish for trout in the rivers, golf numerous local courses, hike or bike mountain trails, or just relax and enjoy sharing time with someone special.

Jackson Falls
Jackson Falls, on the third floor, is a cozy room with fireplace, queen canopy bed, traditional bath with tub/shower, and wing chair.

Pearl Cascade
A spacious room with amenities arranged around the central three-sided gas fireplace. The restful pale blue and warm beige color scheme complements the king cherry Euro-bed. The jacuzzi for two with waterfall shower features a window overlooking the Ellis River as well as a view of the fireplace. Enjoy an afternoon retreat in the easy chairs or on the private balcony overlooking the river and mountains. Pearl Cascade is located a few steps from the main inn building and is one of the two newest guest accommodations.

Sparkling Cascade
One of the newest rooms in the inn, Sparkling Cascade is perfect for romance with a king four poster cherry bed, wing chairs near the three sided gas fireplace, jetted tub for two with views of both the fireplace and the river, and a private balcony. Sparkling Cascade is a few steps across the parking area from the main inn building.

Bridal Veil Falls
Bridal Veil Falls on the first floor of the main inn offers a king four poster bed, loveseat facing the gas fireplace, jacuzzi for two in the bath, and a patio adjoining the lawn and gardens.

Franconia Falls
Franconia Falls has a patio that adjoins the pool area and sauna. The room, decorated in rich ivory, gold, and black, features a romantic queen canopy bed, gas fireplace, and luxurious chaise lounge. Jacuzzi for two in the bath.

Thoreau Falls
Thoreau Falls on the third floor has a king four poster bed, two wing chairs in front of the antique fireplace mantel, and a jetted tub for two in the bath. Open the small panel doors to view the fireplace from the tub.

Paradise Falls Suite
A two room suite in the 1893 portion of the inn with one of the original fireplaces in the bedroom. Watch the glow of the embers from the maple king sleigh bed, surrounded by the warm color of the 19th century woodwork. The intimate sitting room has a comfy sofa and flat screen TV/DVD. Step out the door onto a private section of the south facing balcony overlooking the river or relax in the triangular Jacuzzi for two with waterfall shower in the bath. You'll love being in Paradise!

Silver Cascade
Silver Cascade is a cozy room on the third floor of the 1893 portion of the building. It's balcony is the highest in the inn, and it has a gas-fired woodstove and bath with double shower.

Avalanche Falls
This east facing green and rose traditional guest room on the second floor features a queen bed, easy chair, and TV with DVD. Sliding glass doors open onto a balcony with beautiful mountain views across the valley. Avalanche Falls adjoins the Flume Gorge room and may be combined with it as a two room suite. NOTE: Avalanche Falls is not available mid-October to mid May.

Dianas Baths
One of the original wood-burning fireplaces in the inn is located across from the beautiful king bed. The soft green and burgundy color scheme complements the 19th century woodwork and armoire and a pair of wing chairs by the east-facing windows allows you to enjoy the view and the warmth of the fireplace. Although the waterfall is named Diana's Baths, the room has only one with a tub/shower.

The Basin
This guest room may be configured as a single guest room or a suite suitable for a family with teenage children. Located on the second floor in the 1893 portion of the inn, the bedroom has a king sleigh bed and sliding glass doors onto a balcony overlooking the river and mountains. The private bath has a tiled shower with body jets rather than tub/shower combination. When configured as a suite, stairs lead to an upper level providing twin beds for 2 additional people.

Crystal Cascade
Spacious guest room on the second floor with southern and eastern exposures. In addition to the queen bed, the room has a sunny sitting area with a day bed, ideal for movie or tv watching. A wood stove (electric) makes winter nights cozy. This room can accommodate up to 4 guests when the daybed and its trundle are used. Traditional bath with tub/shower.

Champney Falls
Bright, traditional guest room on the second floor overlooking the pool. Decorated in blues and gold in the summer and rich red, blue and gold in the winter, Champney Falls offers a queen bed, wing chair, and private bath with tub/shower.

Ripley Falls
The inn's only guest room with two double beds, it can accommodate up to four people. Located on the second floor, it offers views of the pool and mountains beyond.

Ellis River Cottage
Separate from the main inn building, this rustic two-story cottage for two was converted from the original 1890's ice house on the property. Your private patio overlooks the river and offers an ideal place for enjoying its sounds. The first floor of the cottage has a sitting area, jacuzzi for two with window overlooking the river, bath with shower, small refrigerator, and microwave (not full kitchen/dining facilities). Climb a narrow spiral staircase to the second floor with queen bed, woodburning fireplace, and balcony overlooking the lawn. Country Rustic in Décor.
