Whatever your reason for staying in Jackson, The Carter Notch Inn Bed & Breakfast is the perfect retreat, offering an excellent base for hiking Mount Washington or any of the stunning hiking trails in the White Mountain National Forest. Golf or cross country ski from our front door or simply just relax and get away from it all. Each of our guest rooms benefit from central air conditioning and have their own unique personalities, tastefully decorated with antiques and country style arts and crafts. Rooms 1 - 5 are located on the second floor & Rooms 6 - 9 are located on the third floor of this historic building. All rooms have private bathrooms, alarm clocks, hair dryers & personal toiletries, and comfortable queen beds.

Our guests comment how the setting is quiet, serene and relaxing, yet close to the fabulous restaurants of Jackson and the shopping in North Conway. As you walk through the front door, you're likely to be greeted by the aroma of Sally's baking and welcomed by the warmth of the real log fire. Henry, our Old English Sheepdog will greet you enthusiastically from behind the kitchen door to make you feel right at home.
