Whitney's Inn at Jackson has been one of New Hampshire's premier destination resorts since the 1840’s, welcoming both couples and families with its charming guestrooms, superb dining in the rustic Shovel Handle Pub, its beautifully maintained grounds, and close proximity to the Black Mountain Ski Resort. The only lodging property in the area with both downhill and cross-country skiing just outside its doors!

Sixteen of our twenty-six rooms are located within the main inn. We also have eight two-rooms suites at Liftline Lodge next to Black Mountain and two two-bedroom cottages. The Shovel Handle Pub has been a favorite of locals and tourists for decades and offers Yankee style cuisine to compliment the rustic charm of this 3-story post and beam barn. In the pub enjoy views of Black Mountain Ski Resort out our windows, sit fireside under “Whit”, our moose mascot, and enjoy three levels of dining. Family-friendly live entertainment is offered most weekends. The Shovel Handle Pub also provides a great venue for weddings and parties up to 125 people.
