The Inn On Golden Pond Bed & Breakfast is located in Holderness, New Hampshire on 50 wooded acres which gives it a rural feel, yet it is a short drive to virtually all of the major attractions in central New Hampshire. It is an impressive country home built in 1879, located in the Lakes Region of central New Hampshire and in the foothills of the White Mountains. It offers the ideal setting for a New Hampshire weekend getaway or a relaxing vacation.
Nearby is Squam Lake, the gem of New Hampshire's lakes region. Its crystal clear waters and the peaceful, unspoiled beauty of the surrounding area caused Hollywood's moviemakers to choose it for the setting of the classic film "On Golden Pond." There are miles of open waterway to sail, motor, paddle or swim in. Or watch and listen to the mystical loons as they call to each other across the lake waters. Our bed and breakfast country inn is minutes from the Squam range and nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains making it a great spot for hikers and skiers looking for a weekend getaway or vacation.
