An ideal spot for smaller receptions, we also have many common spaces perfect for mingling and taking photographs ~ a restored Victorian library, a living room with a huge granite fireplace, a rocker filled porch and two balconies, the outrageously eclectic Palmer House Pub and our award-winning gardens surrounding a stone terrace.

We are also within walking distance to one of the most photographed churches in New England ~ Eaton’s Little White Church.

In 1884, Nathaniel G. Palmer built his spacious home around the site of a smaller home believed to be the residence of his father. His unique, Greek-Revival home, overlooking Crystal Lake and Eaton’s "Little White Church", was documented in the North Country Council’s Historic Buildings Inventory. Nathaniel soon began taking in travelers and visitors that came to spend summer enjoying the area. His house became known as The Palmer House.

Named after Nathaniel, the Inn at Crystal Lake's Palmer House Pub has been recognized by The Boston Globe as a perfect spot to relax with a drink and some delicious food. The gorgeous walnut bar originally came from Boston's Ritz-Carlton. Play a song on the beautiful Yamaha piano. In the summer, take a seat out on the patio with a glass of wine.

Here are the Inn at Crystal Lake, all our guest rooms have private baths and include such amenities as cable TV/VCRs, CD/radios, telephone (unlimited local calls) and air conditioning.

Guest refrigerators stocked with complimentary soda are included in the Palmer and Family Suites as well as in the common area of the third floor.

Please inquire about our dog-friendly room. Our cats, Pumpkin and Roz, will be more than happy to make you and your dog feel welcome. We have one room in which we allow well-trained dogs (sorry, no cats) - please inquire.
