If you're more of the animal-lover, you will thoroughly enjoy Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo, which is home to many rare species like the rare Japanese giant salamander. Or maybe if you're looking for a new treasure or keepsake you should visit Omaha's Old Market, which is very popular and well liked among those who visit, with its cobbled roads, preserved buildings, and one very tempting flea market.
Many people are also very drawn to the state capital: Lincoln. If you're looking for something fun and adventurous that your kids are sure to enjoy, visit the Lincoln Children's Museum. The museum has so many hands-on interactive exhibits that ensure the whole family has a great time. An additional attraction in Lincoln is the Nebraska State Capitol building, which combines Gothic and classical influences into its limestone structure.
