Montana is also very well known for its national parks, two of the most famous in the country are located right here in Montana: Glacier National Park, right by Flathead Lake and Kalispell, and Yellowstone National Park, right by Yellowstone River and Livingston.
Montana's trout streams are part of what make Montana such a unique place. Lots of different species of trout are found in Montana's streams, and virtually all streams and rivers in Montana have one or more species of trout. History buffs will also be very impressed with the countless historical attractions that Montana has to offer. The Battle of Little Bighorn national monument, found in Crow Agency, allows visitors to experience the bravery of the 1876 battle. Ghost towns are also quite popular attractions in Montana, and more than twenty cities - Jefferson City and Marysville, to name a few - offer ghost towns to explore. |
