Located just two blocks off Kansas City's famous Country Club Plaza, the Inn blends classic New England Bed and Breakfast ambiance with small hotel amenities.
Twelve guest rooms in the main Inn and a luxury suite in the Carriage House offer private baths, telephones and parking. Each room has a special feature such as treetop deck, fireplace or Jacuzzi.
A stay at Southmoreland on the Plaza Bed and Breakfast includes a gourmet breakfast in the morning, complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres in the late afternoon, and an evening hot beverage service and sweets. Guests also have privileges at two nearby fitness centers. We also offer corporate rates.

Cancellation Policy:

Advance reservations are required and are secured with a credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American Express). A $20 service charge is placed on the card for cancellations occurring eight (8) or more days before the reservation date. Cancellations seven (7) or fewer days before the reservation date result in a 50% forfeiture (one-half the cost of all nights reserved). Same day cancellations and "no-show" reservations will be charged at 100% unless they can be rebooked.
Group or special event reservations are subject to a 50% forfeiture for all rooms and dates canceled up to eight (8) days prior to the reservation, and to a 100% forfeiture for cancellation with notice of SEVEN OR LESS days. If the room can be rebooked, there is only a $20 handling fee per room.
