The Plain & Fancy Bed & Breakfast, built in 1908 is located in Arcadia Valley just 2 miles outside of the sister cities of Arcadia, Ironton, & Pilot Knob, Missouri. A bubbling creek runs behind the house and can be viewed close up with a short walk to The Low Water Bridge. Enjoy the many area attractions, such as the antique shops, carriage rides, Fort Davidson, elephant rocks, Taum Sauk Mountain, Johnson's Shut-Ins, Black River float trips, clear water & Lake Wappapello, Mark Twain National Forest and the Ozark Trail.
Relax in a well appointed room or suite. Your private bath will have a Jacuzzi tub or old fashioned soaking tub as well as a separate spa shower. Robes, plush towels, and blow dryers are available for use. All bedrooms have cable TV & DVD players, as well as high speed internet & zoned heating. Enjoy the grounds that include a gazebo, fire pit patio, hot tub and swimming pool all overlooking Stouts Creek. A full breakfast is served in the dinning room, sunny breakfast room, or outside patio, weather permitting. |

Check-in between 3 PM & 5 PM. If you are running late don't worry, we can leave instructions in the mailbox on the side of the house just give us a call. |

Cancellation Policy: |
•Cancel with $35 service charge up to 14 days in advance. Less than 14 day cancellations will be charged full amount of reservations unless the room is rebooked.
•Memorial Day, Labor Day, Mountain Music Festival (Spring and Fall) and Civil War Reenactment require a prepaid two night stay with no cancellation privileges. 4th of July requires a one night prepaid stay with no cancellation privileges. |
