Located in Historic Downtown Hannibal, Mark Twain's hometown, on the street once known as Millionaire’s Row because of its beautiful homes and fine architecture. The Garden House is the perfect place to station yourself while visiting Hannibal and its wonderful surroundings. Head out for a wonderful day amidst artist studios and galleries, along the Missississippi River or off the beaten path where you will find awesome antiquing as well as historical and outdoor recreational adventures.
You can easily get married and honeymoon at the Garden House, a perfect historic, romantic memory of a life time. Simply Book a Room on the "special day" or your choice, and receive the onsite location of your choice, minister, wedding cake, bottle of champage and a honeymoon room with full breakfast the next morning. You may also add on a five course European Innkeepers Dinner for Two on your "special day" or opt to be married at Rockcliffe Mansion and spend your honeymoon at the Garden House. We can provide picnic lunches, ideas for daytrips, appointments for massages...and more!
