Hello and welcome to our listing on BnBFinder.com! We are happy you are viewing our listing and hope you include the University Avenue Bed & Breakfast in your travel plans to Columbia Missouri. The inn is located one block from the University of Missouri, 4 blocks south of Stephens College and 20-25 minute walk to either downtown Columbia or the University’s sporting arenas. Our bed & breakfast is a solid brick home that was built in the early 1920's in what is today known as the 'Historic East Campus Neighborhood' district along the University of Missouri campus.
The B&B’s 4 guest rooms, 3 with queen size beds and 1 with a king size bed; all have private baths and are located on the second floor of our home. Our inn’s amenities allow you to experience a time away from your world without giving up many of the comforts of home. All guest rooms have WiFi and we have a guest computer with laser printer in our common living room. The living room is a great place to watch T.V via satellite, read a book or just relax and sip a cup of tea or coffee after a busy day. We want you to stay in touch with those who are important to you while staying with us so long distance calls are free and for those who traveled from a far, we have international calling cards at no charge.
Your breakfast in the morning will begin with the aroma of fresh brewed coffee or you can pick from our large selection of tea to enjoy when you are served our full breakfast. Please let us know if there are foods you don’t like to eat, even if they are not 'normal' breakfast foods. We create our menu around our guests culinary preferences for the time that they are with us and would not want to serve anything that they wouldn't want to eat, just please let us know when you call or email us if there are foods you prefer to not be served to you.
As for our prices, our nightly rates are always the same. We never raise or lower rates based on the peak times of the year, but we do require a 2 night stay for some event weekends.

Our breakfasts begin with a fruit starter; apple dumplings, strawberry & blueberry parfaits, mango smoothie just to mention a few. Then we serve up an entree of either an egg dish; a few guest favorites are: Eggs Benedict, vegetable frittata, egg & sausage casserole all are served with biscuits or homemade toast and fresh fruit or it could be a bread dish like oven baked pecan french toast, dutch baby pancakes, waffles with our banana and caramel sauce.

4:00 PM or later. If you need to check in earlier than 4pm then please arrange it with us ahead of time. |
Check Out Policy: |
Monday thru Saturday 11:00 AM, If leaving on Sunday, please check-out by 10:30 AM. Late departures any day of the week can be arranged with advance notice. |
Cancellation Policy: |
For all "Big Event" weekends (Mizzou home football games, graduation weekends and select local festivals) - If you cancel with less than 21 days prior to your check-in date AND we are not able to re-book your room, we regret we cannot refund the deposit.
For cancelations any other time of the year - If you cancel with less than 14 days prior to your check-in date AND we are not able to re-book your room, we regret we cannot refund the deposit.
* Please note, your cancellation MUST be made by phone (1-573-499-1920). Do not send email requests for canceling your reservation as they will not be accepted. If you have questions about our cancelation policy, please call us. |

Deposit Policy: |
Payment: VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Cash & Checks.
Deposit: A charge of 50% of the total amount due will be charged at the time of making the reservation in order for us to hold the room you have requested. For those paying by cash, a temporary hold will be placed on the room until we receive a check payment for the deposit. Check payments must be received within 2 weeks from time of booking or the reservation is cancelled. |
