Overlooking Spirit Lake near Vergas, Minnesota, the Loghouse and Homestead Bed and Breakfast is cradled amidst 115 acres of hills, fields and maple woods in the heart of the famous Minnesota lake country. Luxury, pampering and privacy are its hallmark.

This lakeside, elegant and romantic bed and breakfast boasts a multitude of amenities including in-room fireplaces, whirlpools for two, private breakfasts and a sky-lit Swedish suite. All five guest rooms have lake side balconies or porches. Three hiking trails grace the premises. Canoes, rowboats and snowshoes (gratis) offer guests the best of Minnesota seasonal activities. It is a perfect choice for honeymoons and weddings.

We are an historical Bed and Breakfast, located in picturesque Otter Tail County in the heart of Minnesota's famous lake country. More than 1,000 sparkling lakes are surrounded by rolling hills and curving roads, free of billboards and full of wildlife. It is a verdant land in summer, a riot of color in autumn and pristine white in winter--a lovely playground in any season.

The Loghouse and Homestead is comprised of two very different structures: the 1902 Swedish homestead original to the property and the innkeepers' great - great grandfather's 1889 loghouse, which was moved intact from northern Minnesota and still wears its original interior whitewash. Six generations of the innkeepers' family have slept under its roof. Now you can too.

Cancellation Policy:
Must be made 8 days prior to arrival date. If two or more rooms are booked, a 14-day notification is required. If cancellation is made after the deadline, full payment for the room will be charged.
Deposit Policy:
A $45 per night, non-refundable deposit is required to confirm. Single or double occupancy only. Due to fire regulations, no wax candles allowed.
