Over a century ago, land Baron John Spicer, my great grandfather, built a home on Green Lake now called the Spicer Castle Inn. State of the art in its time, you will get a sense of things a hundred years past. Furnishings in the Spicer Castle are those used by the Spicer family as they enjoyed the tranquility of this fine old lake home located on five wooded acres along the beautiful shores of one of Minnesota's finest lakes.

Now a bed & breakfast inn, we are celebrating 19 years of inn keeping! You can enjoy the fascinating history in comfort while enjoying great food by people who love to cook. Looking for something fun to do? Try one of our hilarious murder mystery dinners or perhaps a cruise of Green Lake aboard the Spicer Castle Belle.

Check In Policy:
Begins at 4:00 PM. If you expect to arrive after 8:00 PM., please let us know.
Check Out Policy:
12:00 Noon. Guest tariffs are paid following breakfast on your day of departure.
Cancellation Policy:
For a refund on cancellations we require a $15 processing fee per room, per night with a four day (96 hour) notice, thirty (30) day notice for three or more room reservations.
Children: Children ages 10+
To provide getaway for our guests, children are not allowed.
Deposit Policy:
To insure your reservation we require a deposit of 25% of one night's room rate to guarantee your reservation. Group reservations of four or more rooms, we require a deposit of 50% of one night's room rate to guarantee your reservation.
