We had a wonderful evening at Tefft House. The room was spotlessly clean but didn't feel sterile or unapproachable. We stayed in the Nathaniel, which was beautiful. The soft lighting was a welcome relief, as was the fireplace and the beautiful hot tub. I felt very comfortable there and slept soundly.
Steve helped us find the perfect restaurant to go to for dinner. It was about a 40 minute drive from the B&B, but the experience was totally worth it. (We went to Nosh in Lake City.) Breakfast in the morning was nothing short of awesome. The food was carefully prepared with fresh, sustainable. non-GMO ingredients, and we were encouraged to eat until we were full. The coffee was great, and the conversation was even better. Steve and Marsha are a joy to talk to. They're such warm, open-minded, well informed people.
We had an excellent stay and will definitely return.

Was very nice, beautifully decorated and comfy bed. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful. Breakfast was simple, but plentiful and delicious with fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh ingredients.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary. As we've found, it's difficult to find a bed & breakfast that is good and affordable over the July 4th weekend. We were very happy with the Tefft House. We stayed in Hattie's room - very nicely decorated and sporting a 2 person hot tub. Also, we met the husband of the couple that owns the B&B, and he was very friendly and hospitable. He served us a large breakfast each morning, and you could tell he really enjoyed his job. The town i nice and quiet, but Rochester is about 20 minutes away if you want bigger city life.

The innkeepers did a great job of cooking special food to meet my dietary restrictions (gluten-free/dairy-free). It was tasty and elegantly served in a lovely dining room.

They accepted us last minute. We were traveling and found them on the GPS at 8PM, called and drove straight there. Everything was wonderful except for the traffic noise. It is located on a very busy road.
