A warm welcome awaits you at Yelton Manor Bed & Breakfast of South Haven. The Manor overlooks the scenic Lake Michigan shoreline with its sandy beaches and magnificent sunsets. The three-story Victorian mansion was built in 1890 and was one of the finest resorts of the time in South Haven. Both The Yelton Manor B&B and The Manor Guest House are the closest lodging in town to the beaches and around the corner to the historic heart of South Haven, Michigan. The inns, porches and picnic deck are surrounded by mature trees and spectacular perennial flower borders, space for retreat and reflection. On lazy days stunning sunsets and brilliant starlit night skies on the white sand beaches of Lake Michigan provide time for yourself or to spend with your mate.
Dedicated to your privacy and pleasure, the inn has been the home, passion, art, ministry and marital adventure of Elaine and Robert, your innkeepers. The Yelton Manor B&B has eleven delightful guest rooms. Each spacious room or suite has private bath, custom decor, firm bed, upscale personal products, art and antiques, flat screen TV and DVD, CD stereo with music selections and wireless internet. Cancellation Policy: |
For regular bookings, deposit will be returned if cancellation is made prior to 10 days before scheduled arrival.
There is a 30 day cancellation deadline for holidays or special events. Group bookings are payable in full at the time of reservation and are non-changeable, non-cancelable, non-refundable.
A $20 per room processing fee will be applied to all cancellations.
A shortened stay will be treated as a cancellation.
We are a small inn and late cancellations affect us greatly. Sorry, but our policy is firm regardless of the reason for cancellation.

A 50% deposit is required. The deposit guarantees payment for the entire reservation; late cancellation owes full fee.
Two night minimum on weekends; three night minimum for holiday, festival and summer weekends

As you can see by my ratings, this bed and breakfast far exceeded any expectations we had prior to our stay. From the moment you arrive, you are warmly greeted by the owner Elaine, till the sad time you have to drive away, waving with tears in your eyes. Everyone should experience this type of vacation, and I promise you every where else you stay after will pale in comparison. Wonderful location, immaculate room, tons of books, excellent music playing, so romantic!!!! We will be returning every year....I look forward to our next stay! Cookie and John- Naperville, Il.

Look to the innkeepers Elaine and Robert to oversee every detail and welcome you to The Manor. Gracious and engaging they are what set the Manor above other B&B's. Great gardens as well.

You can't be disappointed here. Yelton Manor was voted third BEST overall in the USA last year and well deserved. I wish I could be gifted with a stay here on a monthly basis. Hospitality of the hosts is top-notch. I guarantee a memorable evening, overnight and scrumptious breakfast.

My husband and I discovered the Manor in 2001, and we fell in love with everything about it - from the carefully designed decor to fantastic location, rigth by the lake Michigan. We go back any chance we get. It is like a place from fairy tales - an old house, filled with books, cozy reading nooks, popcorn, fresh fruit, brownies and other sweet treats. There is also an extensive collection of videos available for guests. The food is fantastic, and both carnivores and vegetarians will be happy with the offerings. Home made appetizers are served every afternoon at 5:30; all guests have a chance to mingle in a relaxed atmosphere with each other and the Inn Keeprs around the kitchen table. The Inn Keeprs, Elaine and Robert, are fantastic at what they do. They are warm, funny, and very loving and caring, making sure that everybody's stay has a truly magical quatily to it. Guests have a choice to stay either at the Manor, where they will have a chance to meet other guests and interact with Robert and Elaine, or stay at the Guest House, where the breakfast is delivered to their doorstep, and they don't have to see another soul during their stay if they so choose. We always stay at the Manor, because we trully enjoy visiting with the Yelton Manor Gang. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You will NOT be dissapointed.
