The Celibeth House, located in Blaney Park in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, was built as a private residence in 1895. This lovely country home offers seven spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bath. Our home is situated on 71 mostly wooded acres. Guests can enjoy a summer walk through the woods or snowshoe the trails in the snowy winter months.
The Celibeth House has hosted guests from England, Germany and Japan as well as travelers from allover the United States. They all enjoy the quiet solitude the North Country offers. Visitors from Chicago, Dallas, New York City and other cities always comment on how much they savor the clean air and slower pace of Upper Michigan. Some of our guests have spent evening time on the back porch just looking at the stars and a couple from Florida saw the northern lights for the first time.
Seul Choix Point lighthouse, Pictured Rocks harbor village of Fayette are just three of many historic and scenic sties within a short north woods drive from Blaney Park. The Seney National Wildlife Refuge, home to a large variety of birds and animals, is just a few miles north of Celibeth.
