The Lathrop House Bed & Breakfast, located in Springfield’s historic Forest Park District, has been welcoming guests since 2003. Run by professional photographer Diana Mara Henry, this grand Victorian home was built in 1899. The Lathrop House proudly features spacious public rooms with free wireless internet access, board games for all interests, and an affectionate house cat!
We're 5 minutes from Amtrak and Peter Pan bus with free car service available, and within walking distance of pubs and restaurants, video store, pharmacies, synagogues, churches and a world-class bridge club and is 20 minutes from the Bradley International Airport. The house is also within a five minute drive of the Basketball Hall of Fame and downtown Springfield; ten minutes to the Big E and Six Flags, and twenty minutes from Bradley International Airport.
The five-college area of Northampton and Amherst, Hartford and West Hartford are no more than a half-hour away. Guests may hike, bicycle or jog in Forest Park across the street, taking in the zoo, nature trails, or enjoy the Lathrop's own rose garden and swing on the columned front porch. |
