Rated as "One of New England's Best" by Foders and built in 1845 by a wealthy Sea Captain, Captain Ferris House Bed & Breakfast is an architecturally significant Greek revival style home that has been restored to its former glory in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. The restoration reflects its distinctive past while adding elegant sophistication to its guest lodgings. The nine accommodations all offer private en suite bathrooms with Jacuzzis, cable TV's with VCR's, phones, bathrobes and hair dryers and private entrances. World class antiques and exquisite window treatments adorn all the rooms.
In our elegant dining room with its Waterford chandelier or in our glass enclosed greenhouse courtyard you will be served a full three course breakfast each morning at your own private table for two. After breakfast, stroll or bicycle along the scenic Bass River. Pass by quaint Cape Cod river homes on your way to picturesque windmill park and to the warm ocean water beaches of Nantucket Sound. Fine restaurants, shopping, antiquing and great golf courses are all close by. In the evening relax in our lovely parlor. Enjoy a complimentary glass of sherry or port. |

Breakfast is prepared fresh each morning. We start you off with our freshly ground 'Captain Farris' coffees or our selection of regular and herbal teas and all you want of fresh squeezed orange juice or our special blend of cranberry and sweet apple cider.
We surprise you each morning with a different fruit muffin, apple sauce cake or scone. Next we always serve a fresh fruit plate or fruit salad. Our entrees vary each morning and may include eggs Benedict, stuffed French toast, waffles, baked blueberry pancakes, custom omelets, and frittatas. Entrees are served with honey ham or bacon or sausages or Canadian bacon and roasted potatoes. With a little advance notice we can accommodate most special diets and vegetarian entrees. Be sure to let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies.

My fiance and I stayed at the Captain Farris House this past August for the first time and we wished we immediately wished we had booked for more than three nights! The inn itself is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. All the rooms have private bathrooms, which is a huge plus (ours had a Jacuzzi bathtub!). Nancy and Michael, the innkeepers, were beyond hospitable and welcoming. We could immediately tell that they LOVE what they do! The food was incredible - from the afternoon teas and cookies - to the decadent three course breakfasts prepared each morning (all homemade by Nancy!). We cannot say enough about this B&B. We already booked our reservations for this summer (we're staying for a whole week this year...one long weekend simply wasn't enough!).

We had an amazing time at the Captain Farris Bed & Breakfast. The house is beautiful and inviting and spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was something that we looked forward to and they serve the best coffee! Plenty of parking and close to two really nice beaches and nice restaurants. We are looking forward to returning next year.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and we enjoyed everything about this bed and breakfast. Our room was very private and quiet, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Breakfast was outstanding as well as the innkeepers and staff. Great locatin to get around as well. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Fantastic choice!
We are so happy that we chose this destination for our ladies getaway! The rooms ver decorated beautifully. The Innkeepers were delightful and had fabulous suggestions for our day trips and dinner! Thank you! We will all be back with our husbands!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The decor is phenominal. The rooms spotless, ours had a working fireplace and a the most comfortable bed we've every slept in! The innkeepers, Nancy and Michael, were very helpful with assisting us in our dinner reservation and sightseeing plans. What a way to end a perfect stay with a scrumptuous 3 course breakfast. Can't wait to go back.

The Captain Farris House is a first class accomadation. Its decor is exqisite with the utmost relaxing feel.
My husband and I are very busy with our jobs and family. It was so convenient to drive an hour and feel like we were a world away.
