Welcome to The Carlisle House Inn Bed and Breakfast in Nantucket, MA. The inn is the island's premier guest house located only a short walk from beaches, ferries, shops, restaurants and the town center.

Built in 1765, The Carlisle House Inn Bed and Breakfast in Nantucket, MA has been a recognized star-quality inn for more than one hundred years. The B&B is located next to the center of town on tree-lined North Water Street. The inn has been carefully restored, while maintaining the charm of old Nantucket.

With fourteen guest rooms on three floors, The Carlisle House offers a wide variety of accommodations from simple single room to elegant, air conditioned master chambers with canopied beds and working fireplaces, hand-stenciled wallpapers, inlaid pine paneling, wide board floors, rich oriental carpets, wingback chairs, working fireplaces, and our award-winning garden.
