Whether you prefer the ambiance of an historic bed and breakfast inn, or the more contemporary Nantucket-style décor of our Garden Wing, we can accommodate you at the Brass Lantern Inn. Our wonderful location in the Historic District on cobble stoned North Water Street, in Nantucket Massachusetts, is just a few minutes walk from the ferry, Main Street's shops and the area's fine restaurants. From the Brass Lantern B&B, you can enjoy all the charms of Nantucket without your car. From your comfortable room, you can walk to most popular destinations - even to the beach.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations If your plans change and you need to cancel your reservation, you must notify us at least 14 days prior to your arrival. If we receive timely notification, we will refund your deposit, less a 10% fee for handling and processing. If we receive your cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival, your deposit will only be refunded to the extent we are able to re-rent the room. We cannot be responsible for late arrivals or early departures due to weather or any other circumstance. Please remember that, because of Nantucket’s unique location, we must rely on advance reservations.
Deposit Policy:
Nantucket Lodging Reservations For stays of three nights or less, full prepayment is required to confirm your reservation. For stays of four nights or more, a 50% deposit (with a minimum of three nights) is required to confirm your reservation, and the balance is due upon arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Pets Welcome
Pets are allowed at the brass Lantern depending upon availability of a "pet-friendly" room and the prior approval of the Proprietor. The lodging rate for pets is $20 per day; all food and water, feeding bowls, etc. are to be provided by the guest. The guest takes full responsibility for the pet including liability for any possible damage to any part of the Inn caused by the pet. Pets should be with their owners most of the time, specifically during the hours when the room must be cleaned. For times when owners cannot take their pets, for example, dinner in a restaurant, the pet should be crated when left in the room.
