From the spectacular sunrises and sunsets, from winter storms to summer yacht races and the year-round comings and goings of the lobster boat fleet, there is always something happening to remind you that you are in a very special place; and the quaint shops, wonderful restaurants and historic sites of Marblehead are all within a few minutes' walk. Oceanwatch received its first guests on October 11, 1996. From the beginning the reaction has been overwhelming: one German visitor wrote that Oceanwatch is the "best place of the world". |
