Welcome to Harborside House Bed and Breakfast, offering magnificent lodging in historic Marblehead on Boston’s North Shore, sine 1985. Marblehead is a picturesque seacoast town on Boston's North Shore. Its winding streets reflect much of its history including 17th century fisherman's homes, 18th century Georgian mansions owned by merchant princes, and 19th century edifices such as Abbott hall where the famous painting "The Spirit of '76" can be seen. Guests enjoy water views from its wood-paneled living room, a period dining room, sunny breakfast porch and deck. Antique furnishings and traditional wallpapers enhance the charm of this comfortable, quiet home.
Each room offers a writing desk, bureau, closet, clock radio, television, and terry robes, afternoon tea, homemade cookies and bedside Harbor Sweets chocolates. In the mornings our breakfast specialty features a scrumptious Muesli Bread: moist, almond flavored bread that smells delicious. A great location and gracious accommodations are only part of the Harborside House story. Hostess Susan Livingston offers caring and friendly hospitality. A longtime resident of Marblehead, she began welcoming guests into her home in 1985 and is happy to share her knowledge of the area and its history.
We look forward to your visit! |

We were so pleased with our stay with you and John. Everything was perfect; from the wonderful accommodations to the delicious breakfasts. You provided us with some much information and tips, we were truly bowled over by your kindness and thoughtfulness, going out of your way with all these little details; they were truly appreciated. Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home.
We will definitely be back to enjoy your warm hospitality again!
Merci beaucoup!

We enjoyed our stay at Harborside immensely, from the
mints by the bed to the bathrobes to the huge breakfasts, but most especially, we have enjoyed the hospitality of our most gracious hostess. Her talents are to be marvelled at and we appreciate her efforts. Our stay at Harborside House was a lovely part of a lovely experience.

I felt that everything about the accomodations were far above the average of any B&B in the U.S. that we have stayed in. Would return for another visit without any hesitation.
