Dining Room
The Main House offers 3 luxury suites, and together with the 4-room Rock Cottage, sits on 10 open acres with a duck pond. The Main House has a formal entry foyer, living room with attached greenhouse, a well-stocked library, three working fireplaces, an information room with computer for guest use (high speed internet access, word processor and printer), a dining room, pantry, and sunny breakfast room overlooking the pond.

Guest Common Room

Suite One
This 3-room suite occupies one side of the second floor. Its sitting room has a comfortable arm chair and ottoman with standing reading lamp, a closet with robes for your convenience, a writing desk and a generous view of the field and forest across the road. The bedroom, with queen bed and twin wall reading lamps, offers a view of the courtyard and woods. The entertainment armoire houses a 27" Sony TV with full cable, and a DVD player. There is a Bose Wave Radio / CD Player on the bureau with a collection of music for your enjoyment in the suite. The bathroom is equipped with a large two-headed shower, a deep soaking tub with marble surround, and two sinks. The suite is air conditioned by a state-of-the-art remote control Mitsubishi air conditioning wall unit.

Suite Three
This suite in the front of the house affords a broad view of the front yard, the meadow and the woods beyond. The king size bed faces a cushioned window seat, the entertainment armoire with Sony 27" TV, DVD player, and Bose Wave Radio / CD player with a collection of music for enjoyment in the suite. The bathroom has a tiled shower with two shower heads and marble bench. The sitting room is equipped with a comfortable single sleep sofa, a rocker, writing desk and closet. The suite is air conditioned by a silent Mitsubishi remote control wall unit.

The Rock Cottage
The Rock Cottage sits on a hill with a splendid view of the duck pond and the meadow beyond. Surrounded by windows on the front and sides, the cottage is centrally air-conditioned and fully equipped for stays of 3 days or 3 months. There is a porch with table, chairs and umbrella for outdoor dining or relaxing. The master bedroom has a King bed with large closet and bureau. The new bath has a tiled shower/tub and two-sink vanity. The living room features comfortable furniture, dining table and chairs, an entertainment cabinet with cable, Sony 27" TV with full cable and DVD, Bose Wave Radio / CD player with CD’s,a large stone fireplace and finished hardwood floors. There is a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator / freezer, microwave and gas range, and laundry facilities in the basement. The sleeping turret above the kitchen is equipped with a bureau, supplementary window air conditioning unit, and twin beds with reading lamps. The cottage offers comfort and privacy, and is particularly well suited to families with children. The master bedroom, stairs and sleeping turret are carpeted. You can drive right to the front door of the cottage.

School House
The 600 square-foot School House Suite is a completely renovated 1850 school building sitting by the pond, with views all around of woods, water, field and barn. It is beautifully furnished, and has an adjoining bluestone patio with teak table, chairs, chaise and rocker. The entire building has heated floors for the winter and central air conditioning for the summer. The sitting room and bedroom have 11-foot ceilings; the sitting room has a gas fireplace, mini-fridge and Sony plasma TV. The bedroom is equipped with a king bed, a second Sony plasma TV, DVD player, Bose Wave Radio / CD player and high-speed internet access. There is a door from the bedroom to the patio, and pocket sliding doors between the bedroom and sitting room. The spacious bath has 4 windows, a two-sink vanity, a 2-headed shower and a Jacuzzi tub for two. The School House has a private garage. There is simply nothing like it anywhere else.
