Originally built in 1881 by President Chester Arthur's Secretary of State, Frederick T. Frelinghuysen, the building has since graced the town of Lenox with its stately grandeur. This one time "Berkshire Cottage" has been renovated and converted into a luxurious Inn. Situated on 3 acres in the center of historic Lenox Village, MA, the inn features 14 romantic guest rooms. All accommodations have private baths, telephone, color television and central air conditioning. Some rooms have marble fireplaces and Jacuzzis. A continental breakfast is provided.

When you enter Kemble Inn, you'll find a large welcoming foyer and experience the elegance of a bygone era. Walk further in to find the breakfast room overlooking breathtaking mountain views. The large back porch is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the views. The Kemble Inn is the ideal place for weddings, corporate retreats and meetings.

Cancellations must be received more than 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date for a guaranteed refund less a 15% processing fee based on the total cost of the entire reservation. Cancellations received within 14 days of scheduled arrival date are non-refundable. Late arrivals and departures previous to length of time reserved will be charged in full for balance of reserved period.

Rooms will be held only if guaranteed with a major credit card. A 50% deposit by check is required for stays of two or more nights. A full deposit is required for one night stays. Deposit checks must be received within 7 days of making your reservation.
