Welcome to Stonover Farm Bed & Breakfast located in historic Lenox, Massachusetts and a close walk to Tanglewood. Stonover Farm is a 110-year-old Berkshire "cottage" which served as farmhouse to the Stonover Estate, and which has been renovated extensively to provide luxury quarters. The main house and Rock Cottage welcome guests who desire a unique Bed & Breakfast experience. Rock Cottage is on a hill with a splendid view of the duck pond and the meadow beyond. Surrounded by windows on the front and side, the cottage is centrally air-conditioned and fully equipped for stays of 3 days or 3 months.
There is a porch with umbrella, table and chairs for outdoor dining or relaxing. The master bedroom has an oversized King bed with large closet and bureau. The bath has a tiled shower/tub and two-sink vanity. The living room features comfortable furniture, dining table and chairs, an entertainment cabinet, Sony 27" TV with full cable and DVD, a large stone fireplace and finished hardwood floors.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and gas range, and laundry facilities in the basement. The sleeping turret above the kitchen is equipped with tv, phone, bureau, supplementary window air conditioning unit, and twin beds with reading lamps. The cottage offers comfort and privacy, and is particularly well suited to families with children. The master bedroom, stairs and sleeping turret are carpeted. You can drive right to the front door of the cottage. |

This is a gorgeous spot. The Wermans are delightful and thoughtful hosts. The area is full of things to see, not only Tanglewood which is almost literally across the way, but the Clark Museum, Edith Wharton's Home "The Mount", the Norman Rockwell Museum etc. and interesting spots to eat as well. A wonderful way to spend a vacation or a long week-end.
