Guests are invited to simply relax on the wicker-filled screened porch, take a dip in the pool, stroll the sweeping lawns or sit in private garden areas and simply escape from the world outside. Bicycles are on hand at Applegate for guests who wish to borrow them for an afternoon of touring the neighboring countryside.

Living Room
As you enter the foyer, you will see a large parlor to your left. This is the Applegate living room with an expansive oriental rug, settees and comfortable wing back chairs. The mood is comfortably elegant - pleasing to the eye and yet inviting to use. To your right is a baby grand piano, feel free to play. There is a fine wine and bar cabinet made from burled wood. Wine and cheese are served at this cabinet nightly at 5:00 PM.

The Sun Parlor
Walking through the living room there are two doors each of which lead to the sun parlor. This is a comfortably decorated room with two plush love seats, easy chairs, pillows, a game table and chairs and a cabinet with a TV and VCR. What will catch your eye are the windows which line the walls and seem to bring the outside lawn and trees indoors. It is especially wonderful on a snowy winter day when it feels like you are in the middle of the snow storm yet warm and snuggly inside.

Dining Room
Breakfast is served in the fireplaced dining room where the glow from the warm fire makes the room even more inviting. Candles flicker from the polished antique silver candelabras set on every table. The soft classical music that fills the air sets the perfect mood for a quiet breakfast elegantly served on antique bone china with crystal stemware.

Berkshires Luxury Bed & Breakfast
A French reproduction queen-sized sleigh bed highlights this bright, sunny room with its eastern and southern exposure. This room, with its mantled fireplace, has views of Applegate's expansive lawns and towering pine trees.

Lee, MA Luxury Inn
Warmly decorated in lavenders and greens, this sun-filled room provides the ultimate escape for guests. Room Five features a great view of the inn's manicured lawns from four windows with east and south exposures.

Bed & Breakfast in the Berkshires
This room contains a comfortable wooden four-poster king-size bed, two matching night tables with lamps, an electric fireplace, a love seat that converts to a single bed, matching ottomans and a table and chairs.

Bed & Breakfast Suite
This elegant room stretches the entire width of the building providing outstanding views to north, east and west. The massive wooden four-poster king-size bed provides a comfortable night's sleep after a day of exploring the area. Matching end tables, a dresser, an armoire containing a TV and VCR, a CD player and a comfortable love seat are also located within this tastefully decorated room.
