The warmth of the hostess/owner, accommodations, travel needs you may have forgotten, beach supplies and knowledge of the area from dining to activities were extensive. Anna conversed readily but never intrusive. Breakfast included the unusual such as fresh fruit cup, scones and above average coffee. The only thing lacking that would have raised the food rating to above average or even outstanding would have been a protein such as a hard boiled egg and/or cheese.
The next time our family vacations in the area we will, hopefully find a room at Anna's Lanes Cove House!

Lane's Cove House was a delight. We spent the first evening on the back deck watching a perfect sunset over the bay and that set the standard for the rest of our three night stay. It's immaculately clean, our room and bath were comfortable and breakfast was great - scones as light as air and Anna's secret granola mix were very tasty. And Anna could not do enough for us - just a really nice, sweet person.

Our mid-week get-away could not have been more relaxing. The inn is charming and beautifully kept, while Anna, the innkeeper, makes each guest feel welcomed and comfortable. A spacious patio overlooks the cove’s stunning sunsets; flower gardens beckon butterflies and hummingbirds. My husband and I, real B&B fans, were totally delighted with our visit.

This is a beautiful B & B with a fantastic hostess. The Blue room was so comfortable and charming as well as being well appointed. Anna was a gracious hostess and her home made Granola and Scones were the perfect way to start the day in this special area. Her recommendations on sights to see and places to eat were on the mark as well. The view of Lane's Cove from the deck is inspiring. Both the grounds and the Inn are kept up in a way that makes any homeowner jealous. This was just what my wife and I needed for a little getaway. We highly recommend it. Thanks Anna

Anna provides anything and everything that a B & B visitor might expect and more. From her homemade scones (the best I've ever had!) to the free internet and long distance service, to the ironed sheets, to the flat screen tv in the room - I could go on and on. What I was probably most struck with, however, was the cleanliness and freshness of the entire house - not a ding in the paint, not a fingerprint, a water spot - nothing. It is an awesome home with awesome water views. I hope to visit again!

Anna was a most gracious hostess. She was especially considerate concerning our special dietary needs. She was well informed about her community and special events. She gave excellent advice on where to dine. The attention to details in our room was beyond expectation. We would have been most happy to stay longer had we had the available time. This was most definitely a keeper.

Lanes Cove House is paradise for the traveller. Every comfort is present, and the experience of staying there is purely rejuvenating. The kindness and grace of the proprietor, the elegance and warmth of the surroundings. And the view! Lanesville, the site of the B&B, offers incomparable beauty, in an area of genuinely friendly and helpful people.

It was a wonderful and relaxing experience. Anna's home is gorgeous and well kept. As for Anna, she is such a warm and thoughtful hostess. There was not one thing that we needed. She thought of every comfort to make our stay the perfect one. We'll definitely return again.
