Melody's Place was the PERFECT location to stay after our wedding weekend. This BnB was very clean, well appointed, and Melody was very friendly and gracious. It was like we were staying with family. We were able to gain lots of information about the local events that were going on at the time. We also gained some of the tribal knowledge about what to do and not to do in Charlemont and the immediate area. Overall, we were so glad that we stayed and would recommend Melody's Place to anyone who is interested in the BnB experience.

I recently stayed over night at Melody's Place and loved it! The Tree Room (and the entire house!) is absolutely adorable. Melody was a gracious host and served a delicious breakfast of berry filled pancakes, fresh fruit, pumpkin bread, juice and coffee. The B & B was also only minutes from Zoar Outdoor where I went zip lining. It's also only a hop, skip and jump from Shelburne Falls where they have beautiful sights and terrific little novelty stores. I'll definitely stay there again whenever I visit the area. Thanks Melody!

We recently stayed in the Tree Room and it was a lot of fun. Our hosts were very attentive to our needs and went out of their way to please us. We were surprised at how reasonable it was to stay there and the breakfast was wonderful accompanied by a fresh fruit compote, yum. We had a hurried trip through the area and sadly didn't have a chance to enjoy the hot tub, next time. We plan to return soon for another getaway from it all weekend.

The rooms were nice, but no TV's and the Inn was a little too noisy. The Inn keeper and some guests were gossiping about other guests, which I found inappropriate. Breakfast was meager, not many options, and you had to ask for everything you wanted, and were served small portions.

Response
I am sorry about the feelings of this guest. There is one room with direct t.v. I like to try to keep the B&B as quiet as possible, that is why there is only one room with TV and its away from the rest. It is hard to keep people aware of getting into converstation and that there other people in the house. That is eveyones personal awareness. Breakfast I offer everyone a choice that always includes coffee, juice, fruit, a type of bread, and then they can have eggs, sauage, bacon, pancakes or waffles. I am able to make what ever the guests choice so long as they let me know what they would like. I serve breakfast at the time the guests would like to eat between 8:00-9:30. I am sorry for your dissapointment and please if you read this let me know what I could do for you. Thank you, Melody
