The Blue Heron Inn - a Bed & Breakfast is a delightful Charleston Colonial on the harbor in Solomons Island, MD. For your pleasure, the Inn offers two lovely balcony suites and two dormer rooms, all with magnificent water views. Each is tastefully decorated with a private bath, and is designed to encourage you to relax and linger.

The suites have king size beds and share a private balcony. Suite 1 has a large steam room/shower while Suite 2 has a large, inviting sitting room. Rooms 3 and 4 have queen size beds and large window seats. All suites and rooms have access to the balcony off the great room where a large screen TV and stereo await your enjoyment. Other amenities include wireless internet, cable with movie channels, and small refrigerators.

From your accommodations on the waters edge, you can observe working boats and yachts of all sizes, entering and leaving this natural deep water harbor. Your view includes the mouth of the Patuxent River as it blends into the magnificent Chesapeake Bay. You can also enjoy sunrise views over Back Creek, Mill Creek, The Narrows, The Swash, and the lovely harbor of Solomons.

Check In Policy:
Check in is between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Check Out Policy:
Check out is 11 a.m. We cannot guarantee access to your room at an earlier time; however, we will accommodate both an early check-in and late check-out if possible.
Cancellation Policy:
Your deposit is refundable, less a $25 handling charge, if cancellation or changes to your reservations are made 10 days, or more, prior to your scheduled arrival. If less than 10 days and we are able to rebook, the refund policy will be honored.
Children: Children ages 16+
We welcome children over 16 but we cannot accommodate pets.
Deposit Policy:
Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt and acceptance of a deposit equal to the charges for your first night’s stay.
