The Butterfly Fields (agritourism) is a secluded eco-friendly Bed and Breakfast in Lothian, MD located a half mile off of the main road and offers peace and quiet to the person looking to “get away from it all,” yet we are minutes away from the bustling city. Walking along the garden paths gives our guest a chance to experience the varied fragrances of flowers, fruit trees, grape arbors, planting beds, and trellises, all part of the extensive gardens that encircle our home.

While out walking the grounds, the guest will find their way to Goose at the Door Pottery, adjacent to our horse barn. Here guests can browse Lynda's artistic creations, many of which are available for purchase. In addition to being a potter, Lynda is also a certified massage therapist. Pre-arranged appointments are preferred, but short notice requests are welcomed and every attempt will be made to honor them.

Just minutes away the Perfect Pet Resort is a state-of-the-art, full service pet resort that offers luxury accommodations for dogs and cats. They have a 16,000 square foot facility located on rolling farmland in Lothian, Maryland. The Perfect Pet Resort is designed to exacting standards for a safe, unique, and comforting environment where pets enjoy their respite and leave eager to return.

Check In Policy:
4:30pm-8:30pm A $25 per hour or part thereof/per booking will be charged for check-ins after 8:30pm.
Check Out Policy:
No later than 11am $25 per hour or part thereof/per booking will be charged for check-outs after 11am.
Cancellation Policy:
All fees assessed herein will be charged to the credit/debit card used to make the reservation. A. For cancellations of reservations prior to fourteen (14) days of stay the Guest will be responsible for a twenty dollar ($20) administrative fee. B. For cancellations of reservations occurring within fourteen (14) days of stay the following policy applies: 1. For stays of one (1) or two (2) nights, the Guest will be responsible for a fee of one (1) night’s rate per room. 2. For stays three (3) nights or longer, the Guest will be responsible for a fee of one-third (1/3) the total reservation. C. All cancellation notifications will be assigned a cancellation number. D. For reservations not cancelled and not honored, Guest will be responsible for the entire reservation.
