We highly recommend The Bishop's House. The rooms were clean and well decorated (but not over-the-top with a lot of dusty knick-knacks). The bed was sumptuous and the pillows were amazing. We slept better during our stay than we have in a long time.
The bathroom was HUGE with Polaris shower and a double jetted tub. (And when I say double, I mean a HUGE tub with reclining space for two.) So
relaxing!
The breakfasts were massive, with a bounty of amazing things to eat. We've stayed at other B & Bs where breakfast is almost an afterthough. Not so in this case. Be prepared to still be full at lunch time!
There were lot of little extras that made this such an enjoyable stay: wine available in the parlor in the evening; lemonade in the afternoon; complimentary bathrobes; a sitting room with available snacks, sodas, bottled water, coffee, tea; wifi through the house; a laptop for guests to use; plenty of onsite parking; a dvd collection and plenty of books, games, and other activities for guest use.
We were very pleased and we would definitely stay at The Bishop's House again.

This is an outstanding B&B! Diane is so helpful and a perfect hostess!
The food is great and the place is clean and nothing to want for, and I do me nothing! It is very private, not noisy, we were on the third floor. Diane has ideas to keep you entertained! We were there for a wedding in the area, we felt so pampered! They do not skimp on anything, especially food! ha! Enjoy!

It was like visiting a good friend or relative's home. Very relaxing and stress-free. Diane was a most pleasant host, extremely knowledgeable of the area and very helpful with "things to do" in the area. And the breakfasts are to die for! Forget about dieting and enjoy the porch swing.
